I learned that socks were one of the most needed items in homeless shelters, and after talking with my family, Gospel Socks was born! Not only did I want to provide a physical need, which was new socks, but a spiritual need as well. Seeing these people on the streets really opened my eyes and I began to brainstorm ideas about how I could help. "When I was there," says Emily, "I realized there was a large homeless population.
